Dr. Lora Yeager-Smith

Dr. Lora Yeager-Smith has been in practice in the Birmingham area since 1996. She is Board Certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and she is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Yeager-Smith is a graduate of the California College of Podiatric Medicine.

She received surgical training through residencies at Houston Podiatric Foundation in Houston, Texas, and at Liberty Medical Center-Maryland University Medical System in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Yeager-Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama.



Dr. Geetha Hiremath

Dr. Hiremath is a native of Alabama and grew up in Vestavia Hills. After completing her secondary education at Alabama School of Fine Arts, she attended Vanderbilt University, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 2004.

Dr. Hiremath received the Scholl College Merit Award to attend the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and in 2011 earned her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. Her many accomplishments while in attendance at Scholl College include serving as a Student Ambassador and receiving the American Podiatric Medical Association Educational Foundation Scholarship in 2009 and 2010 and Outstanding Female Student Leader in 2010.

In 2014, Dr. Hiremath completed a podiatric medicine and surgery residency program at Northwest Medical Center in Margate, FL. During her time there, she served as chief resident and trained under many accomplished podiatric physicians. In her last year of training, she volunteered with Operation Footprint, Inc. on a medical mission trip in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, which was a highly inspirational and invaluable educational experience for her.

Currently, Dr. Hiremath is licensed to practice podiatric medicine in the state of Alabama. She is excited to be home to serve her community and provide her services as a podiatric physician. In her spare time she enjoys reading classic and modern literature, watching documentaries and drama series, and spending quality time with family and friends.
